A Different Kind of Therapy
Relationships are complicated. Intimacy can be even more complicated. You may love each other deeply and still find yourselves caught in the same conflicts, struggling with emotional or sexual connection, navigating differences in desire, rebuilding trust, or wondering why communication isn't creating the closeness you want.
Your relationship may also not fit the traditional mold.
You might be exploring an open or nontraditional relationship, navigating kink or BDSM, redefining commitment, or simply trying to create a relationship that feels authentic to the people in it rather than following someone else's idea of what a relationship should look like.
I specialize in sex and relationship therapy for people who want to understand what's happening beneath the conflict, reconnect with themselves and each other, and create relationships and intimate lives that feel fulfilling, authentic, and sustainable

About Me
Tiffany Verhasselt, LPC
I’m a sex and relationship therapist with a background in psychology and mental health counseling. As a nontraditional learner who completed my education online while balancing work, parenting, relationships, and the unexpected changes life brings, I understand that there is rarely a simple path to creating the life and relationships we want. My own experiences have shaped the way I work with clients—with curiosity, honesty, and an understanding that relationships and the people in them are constantly evolving.
I believe therapy should be a space where you can talk openly about the things that are difficult, uncomfortable, or often left unsaid. My work focuses on helping individuals and relationships better understand the patterns underneath conflict, strengthen communication and emotional connection, navigate intimacy and sexual concerns, and create relationships that feel healthy and authentic to them.
I don't believe there is one formula for a successful relationship or that therapy should be about telling you what your relationship should look like. Instead, we'll work together to understand what's happening, take responsibility for the parts that belong to you, develop new ways of responding and connecting, and build the skills to create meaningful and sustainable change. My goal is to provide a space where you can be honest about where you are and feel supported as you figure out where you want to go.
